Catholic Social Teaching

Minnie Vinnies collected packages to send to war torn Ukraine.
Emeralds wrote to the Prime Minister and others
to ask for support for the SEND MY FRIEND TO SCHOOL campaign.
We learn about people from different places or who speak different languages.
God made us all, we are all special.
We show we care EVERY day by:
- helping others to do their work
- telling jokes to cheer someone up
- saying 'thank you' and 'please'
- giving compliments
- supporting campaigns and fundraisers

helping each other and learning how to resolve arguments.
In the spirit of love and forgiveness
our family learn to grow withhope and joy.
We can vote for the School Council and join the eco-council;
we can think carefully about how to vote and make class decisions.
Even Little Dioamonds learn how to vote and make their opinions heard.
Our Summer CAFOD workshops will be on Making Our Voices heard.

We look after our own gifts and talents:
'I am good at telling jokes and cheering them up...so I'll learn new jokes'.
'I'm a good footballer...so I'll practise and train'.
I'm a good reader...I'll help others with their reading.'
What is Catholic Social Teaching?
Catholic Social Teaching or CST is founded in Scripture and the messages of holy men and women throughout the ages. It offers wisdom and insights into living the Gospel in today's world..
Jesus tells us to love God and love our neighbours, especially our sisters and brothers who are living in challenging circumstances.
