About Us

The Holy Spirit is a small, friendly school, we belong to the parish of Saint Maximillian Kolbe,we refer to ourselves as The Holy Spirit family, where children will learn to :

We are proud to be an all-inclusive school and welcome families of different faiths and welcome all parents and families into our school family, we have 5 classes at the Holy Spirit; Reception / Year 1, Year 1 /2  Year 3, Year 4 / 5 and year 6. 

Staff are welcoming and work hard at building positive relationships with pupils, parents, grandparents and carers. At the Holy Spirit we provide a safe, happy and inspiriing  environment for all our children to learn. Staff have the highest expectations of all our pupils and provide intensive educational support, so they have every opportunity to be the best they can be, whilst recognising their individual gifts and talents.

Pupils take pride in our school and enjoy being part of decision making regarding our outdoor equipment. We have excellent outdoor facilities, which allows us to take our learning outside. 

Our Children will leave The Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School as confident, resourceful and respectful individuals, who are ready to transition into a successful life at  secondary school and beyond.

Our mission statement addresses moral values that are underpinned by the Gospels, allowing our children to become balanced individuals.

We encourage our children to to make positive contributions to society and act according to the British Values that are underpinned by our mission statement and based on the Catholic virtues of: Love, Faith and Hope, Justice Courage, Self-control and Wisdom.
