School Admissions
Here at The Holy Spirti Catholic Primary School we welcome all children, including those of other faiths and backgrounds. Our classes can accommodate 20 pupils per year group from reception to year 6. The Holy Spiirt follow the procedures in place set by the Local Authority (Halton Borough Council)

September School Starters
Children are due to start school the September after their 4th birthday. Your child's nursery or the Local authority should inform you of when you need to apply for a place at a at The Holy Spirit Catholic Primary school . Forms are available from the Educational Department and must be completed by parents or carers. The Local Authority will then c Once you have been notified the staff at The Holy Spirit will contact you and be delighted to welcome you into school. Mrs Connolly and staff will be happy to show you round our lovely school.
If an alternative school has been allocated and you wish your child to attend The Holy Spiirt you may appeal the descision with the Local Authority and they will put your case forward before an appeals panel andthey will inform you of the decision.
In Year Admissions
If at any time you wish your child to join The Holy Spirit you are very welcome to contact us to arrange a visit to our school and discuss your child's education and needs. If there are spaces available, we will then ask you to complete the admissions form and arange a start date and receive your welcome pack . Places are allocated in date order if we can not offer you a place in your child's class because of unavailability then we will add you to a waiting list; you may still apeal the decision with the Local Authority.
